British Airways lines up lounge refreshes in routes.
The next three include:
Chicago O’Hare Terminal 5 (First and Club)
Let’s have a look at British Airways is planning. Note, that images are from previous lounge refits.
According to the airline, passengers will “receive a personal and more interactive welcome in new-look reception areas. The lounge will have a lighter and more relaxing atmosphere for customers with new décor, flooring and furnishings.”
In addition, there will be more charging ports (built into new marble tables), as well as specially crafted chairs to help customers to relax.
In terms of dining, there will be redesigned serving stations which will continue to offer customers a wide range of local and international cuisines.
No mention if the snack selection will remain as it is for those who are not using the dining products (which… its… well… abysmal as I’ve covered more than once).
Work is due to be completed in Spring 2020.
A fresh, brighter look is on its way featuring new furniture and carpeting, as well as a more interactive welcome experience. Bespoke armchairs will make an appearance too, whilst the working and dining areas will be reconfigured to give its customers more room to work or eat.
Changes will be completed by the end of Spring 2020.
Whilst Berlin Brandenburg Airport wants everyone moved into their new airport sometime this year, British Airways is also performing a minor refresh to their lounge there, with new furnishings, carpet and décor being delivered.
