Kolkata, 6th July, 2018: Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF), the oldest and one of the biggest travel trade shows in India which originated in the city in 1989, started its 30th edition today morning, at Netaji Indore Stadium in Kolkata, with enthusiasm. Including Bangladesh 13 countries More than 430 exhibitors from 28 Indian states have assembled on the fully packed show floors of Netaji Indoor Stadium and the adjacent Khudiram Anushilan Kendra, from 6 to 8 July (Fri to Sun).
Hon’ble Minister, ministry of Civil Aviation & Tourism, Govt. of the People’s republic of Bangladesh, HE AKM Shahjahan Kamal MP has Inaugurated the fair as Chief Guest. He also leading a delegation Team which came from Bangladesh on this Fair.
Minister Said Bangladesh and India are now enjoying the strongest bilateral relationship. The bondage among the people of India especially West Bengal and Bangladesh is very historical. Many people West Bengal have their ancestor’s house in Bangladesh and they fall in nostalgia and want to breath of their ancestor’s. Keeping this reality in mind, both the countries have taken many initiatives for increasing connectivity between the countries.

Mr. Nikhil Ranjan Roy, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Bangladesh Tourism Board (BTB) has said his reaction `Bangladesh received majority of tourists from India. Attending this fair our tour operators are working with their counterparts here and sit together in B2B sessions. We, the Both government should also work together to facilitate them. We can work to identify promote few common tourism products. They can exchange their knowledge, share Information.
