Korean Air launches codeshare with Royal Airlines.

Korean Air and Royal Brunei Airlines have launched a codeshare partnership on flights between Seoul and Brunei.

Under the agreement, Korean Air will sell seats on Royal Brunei Airlines’ flights between Brunei and Incheon airport under its own flight number as a marketing carrier.

The route is operated four times a week, departing Brunei at 0025 on Tuesday and Thursday, landing in Seoul at 0650 local time, with return flights leaving at 1235. On Friday and Sunday flights take off from Brunei at 1520 and arrive in South Korea at 2135 local time, returning at 2235.

Passengers booking the flights through Korean Air can accrue miles on its Skypass frequent flyer programme.

The carrier currently has codeshare agreements with 35 international airlines, include SkyTeam members such as Delta and Air France, on a total of 950 routes.
