12 more jobs up for grabs at Uganda Airlines.

More jobs are up for grabs at Uganda Airlines as the clock ticks towards the maiden flight in July this year.
The company has advertised 12 jobs through print media, which according to them were not filled during the previous recruitments.

“Uganda Airlines, the national carrier of the Republic of Uganda based at Entebbe International Airport is now accepting applications for a number of job opportunities. Apply now to secure your place in this new exciting Airline,” a job advertisement notice on the company website states.

Some of the available positions include; Ramp supervisor, maintenance engineer, maintenance technician, development engineers, aircraft technical records officer/librarian, technical assistants/groomers and security officer. Others are inflight catering supervisor, procurement/materials officer, revenue management analyst, networking, planning and scheduling executive and distribution and scheduling executive.
According to the company, working at Uganda Airlines as a member of the team, “you will be responsible for presenting a positive image of the airline in keeping with its brand to connect the world to the Pearl of Africa.”

The notice adds that “You will be enthusiastic about serving all Uganda Airlines customers and colleagues with courtesy and respect in line with the company’s values. You will also be championing safety and ensuring international aviation standards are maintained at the airline. This is a great opportunity to be part of the new National Airline, in this exciting industry.”

It says successful candidates will have a “can do attitude” with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service, in a fast-paced environment. Specialist experience in flight operations, cabin operations, engineering, ground handling, sales and marketing, revenue management, finance, human resources, safety and security, and other aviation related disciplines, is required depending on the skill set of each position.
Uganda airlines is expected to make its maiden flight in July this year. The airline has already acquired two bombardier jets and two more are expected to arrive later this year for regional flights, while two airbus carriers will be delivered next year for long haul flights.
