US-Bangla Airlines, one of the leading private airlines in Bangladesh, one more DASH 8-Q400 aircraft added to its fleet. With the adding of this new aircraft, taking the number of its passenger planes to eight all together including four Boeing 737-800 and four Dash 8-Q400 aircrafts. Mr. Imran Asif, CEO of US-Bangla Airlines received the aircraft on 13th February 2018, Tuesday at 10.00am at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka. Capt. Abid Sultan, Capt. Lutfor Rahman and First Officer Maruf Ahmed flew with this ferry flight from Montreal, Canada.
The 76-seater Turboprop DASH 8-Q400 aircraft landed in presence of Executive Director Mr. M G Tawhid, Director Operation Capt. Mr. Mashiul Azam, Director Customer Service Mr. A K M Junaid, GM Operation Mr. Zulfiqar Ali, GM Customer Service Mr. Emran Ahmed, GM Marketing Support and Public Relations Mr. Kamrul Islam, GM Procurement Tawfiqul Haque, DGM Customer Service Mr. Abul Kalam Azad and among other High officials of US-Bangla Airlines Ltd.
Currently, US-Bangla Airlines operates domestic flights from Dhaka to Chittagong, Cox\’s Bazar, Jessore, Sylhet, Saidpur, Rajshahi, Barisal and international flights from Dhaka to Kolkata, Kathmandu, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Doha and Muscat. It’s also operates from Chittagong to Kolkata, Doha and Muscat. US-Bangla has planned to increase number of flights in domestic and regional routes with the new aircraft.
US-Bangla Airlines started its operations in July17, 2014 and has already become a preferred passenger airlines in Bangladesh.
