The airline has teamed up with Pure Yoga to create a six part mini-series that passengers can watch and use while in-flight or afterwards. The idea is to create a way for passengers to truly relax.
Travelling, especially long distances, can be very unsettling for people. You can quickly become restless or feel cramped. Many people just feel uncomfortable being in a plane for an extended period of time. To alleviate these issues, Cathay Pacific reckons learning useful meditation and yoga moves could help passengers relax.
In collaboration with Pure Yoga, the six part mini-series is designed to address relaxation techniques that can easily be accomplished in your seat while you are flying. The company encourages passengers to use these same techniques before and after flying as well for an overall relaxing experience. Some of the moves require you to stand up or move around, so passengers may want to save these moves until they arrive at their hotel.
The programme is available in four different languages and can easily be performed by anyone. You do not have to be experienced at yoga or meditation to benefit from these short films. Everyone who tries one or more of these yoga and meditation moves will be able to experience the benefits associated with total relaxation.
